This session will explore the current trends in regionalised vaccine and therapeutic manufacturing and discuss opportunities for Australian academia, biotech, CRDMOs and industry to work with our regional partners to advance therapies and vaccines for unmet diseases in our region. The session aims to highlight opportunities to work with agencies like ADB, RVMC and others to enable Australian biotech to connect with regional partners. In addition, the session will explore key drivers for Australian SMEs/industry to have therapeutic and vaccine manufacturing in Southeast Asia in collaboration with manufacturing in Australia. Furthermore, we will explore how to utilise well connected logistics in the region to enable sharing of these resources for future epidemics and pandemics.
