AusBiotech has now opened the Student Ambassador Program for AusBiotech international Conference 2025 - Australia's leading life sciences conference, bringing together key stakeholders of the Australian and international devices and diagnostics sector to help prepare the industry sector for its changing landscape.
This program is delivered in partnership by Cytiva, who envision a world in which access to life-changing therapies transforms human health. With a rich heritage dating back hundreds of years, a wealth of technical expertise and talent, a broad and deep portfolio, and exceptional service, Cytiva help researchers and biopharma advance therapeutics at every stage from discovery to delivery.
AusBiotech International Conference 2025 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 21 - 24 October, and student ambassadors will be given behind-the-scenes access to the conference sessions, exhibition and networking opportunities.
The Student Ambassador Program aims to give students a competitive edge in the race for employment in the life sciences industry and volunteering at AusBiotech International Conference 2025 will provide a platform to engage with, and learn from, the best in our industry. Selected students have the opportunity to improve their communication and networking skills by joining the team behind this major event.

Successful student ambassador applicants will receive:
- Complimentary ambassador registration (including catering) to AusBiotech International Conference 2025, with time allocated to explore the conference as a delegate.
- Opportunities to network and engage with key industry executives and researchers.
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- Be over 18 years old.
- Be enrolled in an Australian university or TAFE course.
- Be a current or imminent AusBiotech student member.
- Be available for the full conference duration, from Tuesday, 21 October to Friday, 24 October 2025.
- Attend a mandatory training session on Tuesday, 21 October.
- Be responsible for arranging and funding their own travel and accommodation, if required.
