Details

This session will highlight the acceleration of digital health solutions for remote health monitoring across remote and rural global communities. We will focus on demonstrating the use of intelligent bio metric sensors that measure human vital signs from as far across the vast outback of Western Australia to the remotest mountains of the Scottish Highlands. We will address the capabilities of sensor fusion and advanced space communication networks, which will underpin the infrastructure required to meet the increasing global demand for virtual wards aimed at eliminating bed blocking and ambulance ramping. We will discuss the thriving innovation ecosystem within Western Australia and hear how HIVE continue to adopt a holistic approach whilst building remote health solutions for the future. Additionally, the session will address the key challenges and considerations, examining both the opportunities for remote patient monitoring for citizens living with chronic and co-morbidity issues at home or in specialist care as well as key threats regarding data connectivity and security measures paramount for primary healthcare providers. Join us to learn how we are advancing digital health equality for the future within Western Australia and across this rapidly evolving global sector.
