Australia is home to a growing number of exciting medtech companies that are successfully scaling and manufacturing new health innovations while staying onshore, demonstrating the strength of local manufacturing capability in an environment of tighter regulation, rising sustainability expectations and more selective capital. This session brings some of these leaders to the table to share how they have built and scaled onshore capabilities, and what it takes to make that success possible. The panel will explore what works well locally, where the ecosystem can be strengthened, and how international best practice can be leveraged to further grow Australia’s manufacturing ecosystem. With a focus on practical insight and future opportunity, the discussion will highlight how Australia can continue to grow world-class medtech manufacturing by combining local capability with smart global integration.
