Details
Biotechnology has never been more scientifically powerful, yet the world around it has changed. Trust has frayed, institutions are under strain, and geopolitics, drug pricing and capital are being pulled into the same conversation. Dr Jeremy Levin, Chair Emeritus of BIO and author of Biotech in the Balance, joins the conference with a candid global view: how US policy shifts such as most favoured nation pricing, and China's rise, are redrawing where medicines are discovered, developed and financed.
With Jeremy's view that Australia holds hidden strengths for innovative small companies, the conversation asks where Australia should collaborate, where it should compete, and what it must retain to become the place where promising science reaches patients sooner.
