Details
AI is changing how biotechnology assets are discovered, designed, developed and delivered, but what makes an AI-enabled asset commercially valuable and defensible?
This session explores how innovators, investors, potential partners and acquirers assess these assets, from ownership and IP protection to the evidence supporting their commercial potential. What gives an asset a sustainable competitive advantage: patents, proprietary data, models, know-how or validation? How does the equation change if AI is used as a tool in the development of an asset compared to if AI underpins or is integral to the asset? How do those assessments influence investment, partnering and acquisition decisions?
Bringing together IP and commercial perspectives, the discussion examines what biotech leaders need to demonstrate to turn AI-enabled innovation into an investable asset and a compelling deal.
