Tracks
Track 4
Thursday, October 22, 2026
1:45 PM - 2:30 PM
AusMedtech Breakout Room

Details

Australia already possesses many of the capabilities needed to design, engineer, manufacture and scale globally competitive medical technologies. From advanced manufacturing facilities and engineering expertise to innovation precincts, digital manufacturing and commercial partnerships, a sophisticated ecosystem exists to support Medtech innovation from concept to global markets. Yet much of this capability remains under-recognised. Bringing together leaders from across Australia's manufacturing ecosystem, this discussion explores the infrastructure, partnerships and technologies already powering Australian Medtech, how collaboration is strengthening sovereign capability, and why Australia's manufacturing ecosystem is emerging as a strategic advantage in an increasingly competitive global market.
