| 2:35 PM - 3:20 PM |
| Discovery & Advanced Therapeutics Breakout Room |
Details
The panel cohort is collaborating to advance Australia's biomanufacturing capability by integrating AI, hybrid models and digital twins into bioprocess development and beyond. Bringing together expertise from academia and industry, the session will showcase practical examples of how digital innovation is transforming biopharmaceutical manufacturing through faster, smarter and more data-driven decision-making. Real-world case studies will demonstrate how AI-enabled approaches can accelerate clone selection, improve process scale-up, reduce development risk and enhance manufacturing readiness. Attendees will gain insight into how hybrid modelling, combining mechanistic understanding with machine learning, enables more reliable process predictions and supports efficient technology transfer across manufacturing scales. The discussion will highlight how these digital tools are reducing development timelines, lowering costs and improving commercial outcomes, while strengthening Australia's position as a globally competitive and innovation-driven biomanufacturing partner.
