Details
Australia's radiopharmaceutical and broader radiation sciences sector is entering a period of rapid expansion, driven by theranostics, isotope production, sovereign manufacturing investment and precision medicine. However, infrastructure investment is scaling faster than the operational workforce and translational systems required to support it. Growing competition for radiochemistry, GMP, manufacturing and clinical deployment capability is creating emerging constraints across commercialisation, infrastructure utilisation and patient access. Chaired by RMIT University, this panel brings together leaders from industry, clinical, government and investment sectors to examine how Australia can move from fragmented capability development toward coordinated national scale-up pathways aligned with sovereign manufacturing, healthcare and economic priorities.
