Details
What transforms promising science into an investable or compelling partnering opportunity? This session explores what drives decisions to invest in or partner with early-stage Australian biomedtech companies.
Through an interactive discussion among CUREator portfolio founders, investors and pharma leaders, the panel will unpack the inflection points where companies move from scientifically interesting to commercially credible.
Founders will share the assumptions, milestones and decisions they believed would build evidence and generate momentum, while investors and pharma partners will discuss how they evaluate risk, assess progress, and determine what ultimately builds conviction at different stages of development.
Drawing on real translational journeys, the session will provide practical insights into how industry engagement, strategic milestone design and commercial readiness influence investment and partnering decisions, helping promising Australian start-ups secure their first “yes”.
