Biotech startup companies face many a hurdle, but amongst others, attaining the right transition from genomics translational research to tech transfer and finally to commercialization of their R&D intellectual property often makes the top of the list. Here we propose to foster a discussion on how we efficiently guide a company from initial concept to efficient scale up, and through the required steps to achieve manufacturing of a commercially viable product. This round table discussion will focus on how to overcome tech transfer obstacles in order to scale up operations at pace, with the aim to successfully launch a competitive genomics product in the global biotech market.
