Harnessing new technologies and opportunities for industry.
Countries around the world have extracted valuable learnings about pandemic preparedness from the COVID-19 pandemic and have seen the phenomenal success of the mRNA vaccine platform. But as we face emerging threats such as Mpox and avian influenza combined with the growth of misinformation and vaccine hesitancy, how well prepared are we for the next pandemic? This panel session will explore the convergence of disciplines required to address future pandemic threats such as vaccine platform development, public health policy, surveillance and globally connected databases, research and manufacturing infrastructure and a social licence to operate.
