Details

There has never been a better time to pursue life science innovation in Australia. Governments are investing through a range of funding opportunities at both state and federal levels to directly and indirectly support the research and SME sector and are increasingly creating dilutive funding opportunities alongside traditional grants. With opportunity comes complexity. It is important for any business and research organisation contemplating seeking external investment to understand both the requirements of the investor, to maximise changes of success, as well as the implications of success. Considerations such as equity dilution, impacts on eligibility for other incentives, and compliance requirements are important to understand upfront. Our panel session will help to demystify some of these complexities and help the audience navigate the incentive landscape with confidence.
